Annual Plant, Bake and Tag Sale (Opens to the public at 10am)

All member participation is needed for our fundraiser for Civic Beautification.  Set up will be Friday, May 15 and many hands are needed.

The variety of habitat at Manchester Country Club wetlands attracts many different species of birds which are singing, choosing mates and nest building.  Breakfast and a short program to follow.

Thinking Outside the Vase and Garden Tour Preparation

This was so much fun last year, we decided to repeat it. Enjoy the fun to mix, mingle and make.  Bring a creative vase and flowers from your home to swap with another member and do an arrangement in their container with their flowers.  You will take home a creative arrangement made by another GCM member.  We will also prepare for the upcoming garden tour, and all hands on deck are needed.

GCM Garden Tour

Join in by helping and attending the tour of gardens in Manchester, Dorset, and East Dorset.  This will be a fundraising event, and 100% participation by GCM members is needed.

Day trip to Bridge of Flowers, Shelburne Falls, MA

We will visit this exciting creation that underwent a

$3 million restoration in 2024.  In addition, look forward to a fun day visiting the town and having lunch.

GCM member, Joan Blanchard, will speak about her photo  journey to the South Pacific, with a focus on Guatemala and the Solomon Islands, and a trip to Botswana, a photographic safari.  Be in awe at our diverse population.

Vermont’s Merino Miracle

Dr. Jan Albers will talk about the history of Vermont’s Merino wool industry from the 1800s.  At its

height, there were 1,681,000 sheep in Vermont.

Join in the camaraderie to help decorate wreaths to be donated and to prepare for the Winter Bazaar.
