Rewarding Excellence
For more than 35 years The Garden Club has awarded scholarships to students in area schools pursuing an education in environmental studies, agribusiness, botany or any related course of study.
Currently the criteria for the scholarship is a graduating senior enrolled in a college or university pursuing the above course of studies. The scholarship is awarded in June and paid after the student has successfully completed their first semester. Here is our application. We hope you consider applying!
Congratulations to the 2016 Scholarship Winners
On May 31, 2016, at Burr and Burton Scholarship Night The Garden Club of Manchester awarded two scholarships to students who have an interest in agricultural and environmental issues.

The first Garden Club scholarship honors a student who has cultivated many opportunities throughout high school. She’s a committed chorus member who traveled on the service trip to Morocco and spent a semester on the Mountain Campus. She will combine her strong science background with her concerns for the environment with a degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Vermont. Congratulations to change agent, Jackie Nutter
The second scholarship honors a power hitter and varsity softball captain who has also served as a youth baseball coach for the past six years. She, too, is a Mountain Campus alumna who will pursue Environmental Studies and Sustainability at the University of Northern Colorado. Congratulations Rachel Senecal.
