Lavenlair Farm is just the place to wash away stress and strains of everyday life. The 32 varieties of English and French* lavender will intoxicate your senses.
Location: 437 Dewey Bridge Road, Fort Ann, NY
Coordinator: Carol Munson
We will meet at Saint Paul’s Church parking lot at 10:00 am to form carpools to the lavender fields in Fort Ann! We plan to go no matter what the weather, so dress accordingly and bring an umbrella “just in case”.
* A dreadful winter has affected their French Provence lavender. Even more reason to support the young couple, Diane and David who have worked so hard to make a go of their farm. They are harvesting their English lavender and may have enough to spare if you elect to pick a bouquet.
A 45 minute guided tour begins at 11:00 am for $10. (It is repeated again at 2:00 pm.)
They offer a wonderful line of lavender and honey products for sale.
They have created a labyrinth you can walk through to enjoy the experience.
Please leave Carol Munson a message by phone 375-6623 or by email at carolmcaleermunson@gmail.com if you plan to join us. She needs to give the farm a numbers count soon. A link to the Lavenlair Farm brochure is below.
Top off the morning with lunch. Becky recently stopped in Whitehall at the following restaurant and gave it a thumbs up!
