Welcome to Through the Garden Gate,
a tour of private gardens in Manchester and Dorset

When: Saturday, June 25, 2016
Time: 10am to 4pm
Would you like to perk up your garden? Maybe add some new color or create an outdoor room of perennials? You will not want to miss seeing these eight magnificent gardens in Manchester and Dorest!
You will experience vistas and views in all directions at many of the gardens; a garden emerging as a living canvas for an owner who has been restoring her gardens; an incredible amount of editable plantings, stone sculptures in a very small space at one of the properties; a historic point of interest rescued from the undergrowth in Dorset. You will perhaps spot a real live heron and view wonderful garden art and ornamentation, a "folly" and much more.
All the gardens on the tour are private and are not open to public. It is through the generosity of the owners of these gardens that make it possible for us to see these spectacular displays. We cannot thank them enough!
We will provide a list of local markets so you can order lunch and weather permitting, you can enjoy the beauty of the area while picnicking on a club member’s patio!
Tickets will go on sale the week of May 18. The cost is $25 per ticket. Tickets will be available at Northshire Bookstore, The Dorset Union Store, Equinox Valley Nursery, Mettowee Mill Garden Center, Aubuchon Hardware and online at www.gardenclubofmanchester.com
All proceeds from the Tour support The Garden Club of Manchester’s scholarship program for graduating high school students in their pursuit of a college degree in a related course of study of environmental studies, agribusiness, botany or any related course of study.
We hope to see you there!
